This is a collaboration project, lead by Digital Media Dean Max Almy and Professor Teri Yarbrow, to create an interactive virtual reality experience for the Hospice Savannah and the Steward Center for Palliative Care to reduce patient’s pain and anxiety, and to provide a much-needed escape.
In the project, we designed an accessible Bird watching and tranquil virtual reality experience with Georgia local birds and classical music. It’s aiming to offer hospice patients some relaxation with nostalgia factors.
I worked on some of the 2d, 3d art assets and some blueprint features like the retro Radio and in-game Camera.
This project is closely related to my thesis topic. Because I believe that games can be so much more than just entertainment. It can be a great platform for improving people’s life.
